Reports From the Front

Reports From the Front is a space to bear witness to those actively courting change, reacting to change or navigating a transition. As individuals openly share their journey, we are invited to not only learn about their experience, but also from their experience. Observing each change process through our own lens allows us to recognize parts of ourselves in their change or transition. Exposure to how others meet the demands of change offers a unique opportunity to recognize, and reflect on our own distinct patterns and preferences on the path of change.

Professional Crossroads

May 9, 2011

Lately, I’ve been fantasizing about divorce.  As a young twenty-something, I married my career.  The courtship began with a deep curiosity about how our bodies functioned, the interrelation of mind and body, and a strong attraction to helping others during periods of vulnerability. Every class I attended, I became more and more infatuated with nursing.  [...]
